When Every Aesthetic Is “In”
Lately, fashion has felt distant. With so many aesthetics thrown unto our feeds, what is truly “in” seems lost in the nebulous.
Only in this day and age can you grab the mirror in your pocket and see someone in coquette one week, mob wife the next. I’ve wondered what happens when we accelerate the trend cycle to a breaking point. I think we’ve reached a point where the trend cycle has shattered into a sort of trend soup.
Still, past the noise, I’ve observed distinct silhouettes, patterns, and color palettes. For this summer, three themes have risen to the surface: one feels like an a renowned Tokyo-based sculptor, another a siren that has emerged from Mar de Sol, and the third like a barefoot with berry-stained fingers. Together, these looks reflect a shift on how we dress— less for trend and more for feeling.
1.The Minimalist Artist
Clean lines and quiet structure define this look. A linear spaghetti-strap top paired with loose, wide-leg black drawstring pants channels effortless studio energy. Perfect for minimalist summer dressing, gallery strolls, or creating art in a sunlit apartment.
2.Mar de Sol
A lace-trimmed blouse meets a sun-washed denim skirt for a relaxed look. This breezy outfit is perfect for golden hour dinners, beachside fútbol, and post beach unwinding. Think: ceviche, tan lines, and a cool Corona.
3. The Wildhearted Tomboy
A knit tank with bold red lapels paired with classic black shorts captures the spirit of a Southern summer. This look is made for strawberry picking, stargazing, and slow nights by the campfire. It’s equal parts tomboy charm and barefoot nostalgia.
Vibes Over Everything
Whether you’re attracted to clean, sharp details or soft, romantic silhouettes, it’s clear this summer is about one thing: vibes over everything. We invite you to dress for your own tempo. No matter which look you’re feeling- there’s space to sharpen, to soften, and to express yourself completely.
